It is very rewarding to see people you are working with, advancing. At these moments I feel grateful for an opportunity to do what I do.
I am honored to be able to make a difference with love, compassion, empathy, and skateboarding, of course.
Hannover, Germany
When the war started in my country, I was on a skate trip to Turkey. News from home was devastating, it paralyzed me for a few days, but I’ve managed to bounce back to be productive.
A lot of refugees fled to Poland and Germany, most of them women and kids. I had connections with the skateboarding community in Hannover, so I decided to go there and try to help where I can. Within a few weeks, in cooperation with Gleis-D skatehalle we started a big skate school for Ukrainian refugees.
Kyiv, Ukraine
As the war rages, supply chains were completely disrupted, while thousands of athletes and enthusiasts were in need of new gear. Humanitarian convoy was swiftly organized in mid 2022 as a response to a brutal invasion by the russian federation to Ukraine.
In the spirit of solidarity we shipped boards, bikes and spare parts, helping out the youngsters to switch focus from the war and find hope and motivation in sport.
Stuttgart, Germany
2023 marked fruitful collaborations and positive initiatives. Partnering with "razed.ev" and @thestep.skate I had an oportunity to advance both in my teaching and skateboarding game.
During Step camps in Stuttgart, we focused on mobility and diverse activities to make the week to be dynamic and enriching experience. While Partnering with "razed.ev," we embarked on an integration workshop tour, commencing in Stuttgart at "stuttpark" and extending to small Bavarian cities like Ulm, Augsburg, and Burgau.
